CMAT 2019 | Exam Dates, Fees, Reference Books

CMAT or Common Management Admission Test or a National level examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This exam is conducted every year for those candidates seeking admissions in various MBA and PGDM programmes in colleges across India. CMAT sites will be accepted by AICTE recognized colleges all over India. CMAT 2019 is expected to be held in the month of January 2019.

CMAT 2019 Registration

The registration process of CMAT examination will start from the month of October 2018. The candidates have to register for CMAT examination through online mode. There are no offline forms available to register for CMAT examination. The last date to fill and submit the online application form is December 2018.



The process of admission are as follows:

  1. Registration

The candidates have to register themselves in order to fill the online application form. The applicants have to apply as a ‘New User’ and after reading and accepting all the instructions carefully click the proceed button.

  1. Choice

Candidates have to ever 3 cities of their preference for giving the entrance examination. Candidates are warned to select the cities wisely because after the application is processed further, changes in this section Cannot be made.

  1. Documents

Upload a scanned copy of your photograph and signature on the required format.

  1. Generation

A password will be generated after submitting and filling all the required fields. It will also be sent to your e-mail address.

  1. Payment

Payment can be made via both online and offline mode.

Note:- Candidates are requested to print 2-3 copies of your application form for any further use.

CMAT 2019 Application Fee

Application fees can be paid through online as well as offline mode. Online through credit card or Debit card or through Net banking. You can also pay it offline through a cash payment made in SBI Bank.

Rs. 1400 + Bank Charges
Female/SC/ST/PwD Candidates

Rs. 700 + Bank Charges


CMAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should be eligible enough to apply for CMAT examination. The eligibility criteria is given below:

  • Candidates should be citizens of India
  • There is no age restriction for the candidates appearing for CMAT 2019 examination
  • Should have a graduation degree in any field or an equivalent certification.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply.
  • Part-time graduation students can also apply for the entrance examination.

CMAT 2019 Exam Pattern

The exam paper pattern for CMAT Examination is given below:

  • The examination will be conducted through online mode. It will be a computer-based test(CBT).
  • The duration of the examination will be 3 hours.
  • 100 (MCQ) multiple choice questions will be asked.
  • The paper will be of 400 marks.
  • Questions from topics such as logical reasoning, quantitative technique, general awareness and language comprehension will be asked.
  • Each correct answer will reward you with 4 marks.
  • And each wrong answer will deduct 1 mark.

CMAT 2019 Syllabus

Ask the questions will be asked from the four above mentioned sections. No other questions will be asked other than those sections. Candidates should also take some nick tests that are available for free on many different websites. These tests will help them to understand the type of questions and the paper pattern.

CMAT 2019 Admit Card

Admit card will be available from the first week of January 2019. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website. The candidates have to bring the admit card at the time of Examination with a valid photo ID proof.

The authority will also send the CMAT hall ticket 2019 in the candidate’s registered email ID apart from online mode.

CMAT 2019 Result

Results for CMAT 2019 examination will be available on the month of February 2019. It will be made available through a pdf format on the official website. The pdf will also serve as a merit list for the candidates who appeared for CMAT examination.

CMAT 2019 Score Card

Scorecard for CMAT examination for the year 2019 will be made available from the third week of February 2019. All the candidates whose names are there in the merit list can download their scorecard. The scorecard will be available only through online mode and the candidates have to download it through the official website. This scorecard will be valid only for 1 year.
